At North River Builders, we’re more than just a remodeling company—we’re a family business with a vision rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and clear communication. Founded by father-son team Jim and Connor, North River Builders combines over 20 years of industry expertise with a commitment to creating beautiful, functional spaces that clients are proud to call home.

Our story began when Jim set out to build his own custom home. With years of experience in drafting and design, he struggled to find a builder he could trust to execute his vision. So, he built it himself. This experience led Jim to a career of guiding other builders in creating high-quality spaces for clients. As the industry shifted and some of his partners began to retire, Jim decided it was time to take the leap with his son and build something new together.

With a passion for design and craftsmanship, Connor also grew up inspired by Jim’s work. Though he initially took a corporate path in sales and leadership, the desire to bring a more efficient, client-centered approach to the remodeling world was calling. Together, they launched North River Builders with the belief that great communication and clear processes could redefine the remodeling experience.
